I’ve spent most of my life in and around the water, sailing, surfing, diving, and fishing. It’s where I learned that the ocean, like life, can be breathtakingly calm one moment, and wildly unpredictable the next. The water has taught me not to fight it, but rather move with it. Those experiences inform my approach to therapy.
I offer a grounded, compassionate presence that invites you to slow down, reflect, and grow, even in the biggest storms. I’m here to create a space that’s both deeply supportive and gently challenging. One where you can be fully yourself, while exploring the parts of life that feel stuck or heavy.
It’s a collaborative process, rooted in curiosity, honesty, and a deep respect for your story.
On the academic side, I hold two master’s degrees. One in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The College of William & Mary, where I was inducted into the Chi Sigma Iota Honor Society, and another in Cultural and Religious Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary.
My background also includes years spent living and working throughout Southeast Asia in nonprofit and counseling settings, alongside people from a wide range of cultural, spiritual, and relational backgrounds.
These global experiences taught me this: pain and resilience aren’t bound by culture or circumstance. Struggle is universal, and so is the capacity for healing.
I’m not here to give you quick fixes. I’m here to help you reconnect with your own strength, insight, and resilience. The parts of you that have been there all along.
If this sounds like the right space for where you are right now, I’d be honored to work with you.
If you're ready to begin, I'm here.
It's not about controlling the waves, it's about learning to ride them.
